After marriage how soon is it possible to get pregnant

Question: After marriage, how soon is it possible to get pregnant

There are many cases of women who do not menstruate after marriage and are declared pregnant within a month of the wedding. Conversely, many women attain motherhood only after 10 or 12 years of married life.

The causes of childlessness cannot be attributed to the woman alone. Quite often for biological or other reasons, the male counterpart is also responsible.

It is very likely and fairly common that a wedded couple, living together and enjoying natural conjugal relations without the use of contraceptives (including the rhythm method) will find themseleves on the road to parenthood within a year or two of marriage. If, after three or more years of normal cohabitation, there are no signs of pregnancy, it might be wise to consult a doctor.
