Chemical Imbalance
I am a regular reader of your medicalquestionsanswers.com. I have been diagnosed with Bipolar disorder for which I’m on medication throughout my life. These drugs make me feel very unnatural. I feel my emotions and my mind are being mechanically controlled. However I am taking the medicines regularly. I would like to know how else Bipolar disorder can be treated. Would psychological counseling help me?
Bipolar Disorder is a major psychiatric disorder. In the last decade we have gained better understanding of the causes and management of the condition. To do medications over a period of time, it’s very strongly suggested that you continue the medi¬cation. In case, you find your emotions and mental faculty dulling, consult your doctor who can either change your mood stabilizers or reduce the dosage.
