Dental Issue

The gaps between my teeth has increased, causing food particles and fibres toget into them. I find it difficult to clean or take out the debris myself and brushing also does not help. If the particles not removed, they tend to get pushed further into the gaps which causes immense pain. Right now, I am facing the problem in my upper molars only, on the left. The dentist has ruled out any cavity in teeth after checking my X-ray.
You have a classic case of food impaction because of spaces between yourteeth. If this continues you are sure to get cavities as well as gum problems at some point of time in the future. Your dentist should do fillings in the affected teeth to close the gaps and to stop the food impaction. If the gaps are too large to be closed with fillings then crowns can be fabricated. By the way, have you tried using a floss to get rid of debris stuck between the teeth? A piece of tailoring thread will do the job.

I was recently prescribed 2-3 courses of antibiotics by my dentist for a root canal treatment that ran into 3 to 4 weeks. The third course was stopped midway on noticing the infection had finally cleared up. Query: Is it okay to stop an antibiotics course midway? I was always under the impression that one should take a full course to prevent drug resistance.
Usually a root canal treatment, if done properly, should not carry on that long. Provided it was the same drug you were taking, stopping the antibiotics midway of a third course should not put you at risk for drug resistance.
