What are the symptoms of pregnancy
Saturday, February 9th, 2008Question: What are the symptoms of pregnancy
The common indications of pregnancy are as follows :
* Stopping of the regular menstrual cycle.
* Feeling of uneasiness during the day (especially in the mornings).
* Nausea and/or vomiting.
* Listlessness and general lassitude.
* Heaviness of the breasts.
* Frequent urge to pass urine. This is caused by the pressure exerted on the bladder by the expanding (growing) uterus.
* Gradual increase in size of the lower abdomen (the region lying below the navel).
As soon as pregnancy is suspected, it must be confirmed by a doctor. Following this, the pregnant woman must particularly attend to her diet, exercise and rest. Regular visits to the gynaecologist and check-ups also become necessary.
